DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING
- half-day program

 

Discover excitement and adventure! This program lets you experience the thrill of scuba diving under the close supervision of a qualified PADI Instructor in ideal conditions.

 

The orientation and skills session are typically conducted on Cooper Island. Under the palm trees you'll be introduced to basic concepts of scuba diving and you'll practice some important scuba skills off the beach in calm, clear water. Then, one of our custom dive boats will take you to enjoy your first open water dive, no deeper than 40ft/12 m. Explore one of our amazing reefs with your instructor.

 

These skills and the open water dive may be credited towards your PADI Scuba Diver or PADI Open Water Diver course.

Confined water dive: 1 dive

SCUBA DIVER - 2-day course

 

This is a sub-course within the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you have time constraints and are only interested in diving with a certified PADI Pro, then this course is for you!

 

You'll complete the first 3 academic modules, master the skills in the first 3 confined water dives and complete the first 2 open water dives of the PADI Open Water Diver course. No Exam!

 

The PADI Scuba Diver certification qualifies you to dive to a maximum depth of 40 ft. / 12 m under the direct supervision of a PADI Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or Instructor. You can upgrade your certification to PADI Open Water Diver certification by completing the remainder of the Open Water Course anytime, anywhere, under the supervision of any PADI Instructor.

Minimum age: 15 (10 for Junior certification)
Knowledge development: 3 modules
Confined water dive: 3 dives
Open water dive: 2 dives
Maximum. Depth: 40 feet / 12 meters

OPEN WATER DIVER - 3 to 5-day course

This course is the most popular entry-level dive program in the whole world! Earn  your ticket to a lifetime of adventure in scuba diving.

 

Throughout our PADI Open Water Diver course, you'll learn the fundamentals of safe scuba diving, including dive equipment, techniques, and planning. This certification allows you to rent scuba equipment, obtain air-fills and also enroll in PADI Continuing Education courses (PADI Adventure Diver, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, or even PADI Specialties).

 

The PADI Open Water Diver certification is recognized worldwide. To earn this rating, you need complete five knowledge development sessions using the latest "GO DIVE" DVD or manual and video. These consist of knowledge review questions, quizzes and a final exam. In the five confined water training dives, your instructor will demonstrate and then you'll practice and master important diving skills. Finally, applying everything you have learned, you will make four open water dives at favorite dive sites around the British Virgin Islands.

The National Geographic Diver certification can be incorporated with the PADI Open Water Course. This program adds a bonus dive, extended instruction, exploration projects, and National Geographic visual materials. 

  • Learn basic dive skills and safety information through the PADI Open Water Diver course.
  • Explore worldwide dive environments and opportunities by interacting with the National Geographic Diver Almanac and DVD.
  • Learn to fine-tune your buoyancy, hover easily and maneuver carefully through delicate aquatic habitats.
  • Gain practical experience by gathering information and collecting images to create a visual representation of a dive site, detailing what you've discovered through your observations.
  • Improve your navigation skills by using a compass as well as natural references.
  • Study a multitude of aquatic species and identify local plants and animals.
