WHAT OTHERS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THE PROGRAMS
“Thanks to All the Staff”
I did an internship with this company from the start of May till mid June. They were fantastic in training me for diving jobs. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable in all aspects of diving and I would recommend this company to anybody who wants to do an internship or just go diving on holiday.

“Good People.Good diving.”
I had a wonderful time doing a month internship that followed into an IDC/IE. I would recommend this program to anyone who wants to learn how to become more efficient, more organized, and more confident as a dive leader. Mike Rowe does an excellent job as a program director and you might even hear a joke or two! There are times you are having so much fun you don’t even realize that you are learning!
Every single person who works at Sail Caribbean Divers takes the time to answer your questions and help your dive knowledge grow. I really can’t say enough about this place.

“You Won’t Regret It”
If you are looking for a place to take your diving skills to the next level this is the place for you. While working towards the completion of my Dive Master certification I had the opportunity to assist with Discover Scuba classes, Open Water certification classes and Advanced Open Water classes as well as briefing and leading qualified divers at some of the best dive sites in the Caribbean. The entire staff is first rate and willing to share their knowledge with you and you get an opportunity to work with all of them. There is a lot of work involved in this course but there is time for fun too and the staff is more than willing to include you whether it be watching the Six Nations Rugby tournament at Mulligan’s, going to the full moon party at Trellis Bay, taking a day trip to Virgin Gorda or just singing songs and having a few beers at the Rowe’s and Crown. So if you are looking to become a Divemaster don’t hesitate, just contact Mike Rowe at Sail Caribbean Divers, you won’t regret it.

“Just Do It”
I completed the internship for divemasters/instructors in March. If you’re reading [this] review right now wondering if you should do it, then stop reading. Email Mike, say yes, and buy your plane ticket.
If you are considering working in a dive shop, or even if you do currently work in a dive shop you should most definitely do this. The entire crew at Sail Caribbean Divers works hard, works together, and works in an efficient organized manner that every dive shop, deck hand, dive master, dive instructor should learn from.
As for the island itself… amazing! The grocery store has everything from frozen pizza to avocados! Prices aren’t too steep. You can hitch around Tortola or island hop for a day. This [program] inspired me to complete my IDC and further my dive career. Basically, these guys are just amazing. That’s all there is to it.

“Professionals All the Way.”
Having dived all over the world, I have never come across such a world class, professional diving company. I spent 4 weeks and over 40 dives with SCD on a pro internship, All the staff are trained to the highest of standards, great to be with and are always smiling. They offer the utmost in customer service, high quality training & kit, safety & enjoyment top priority. It was a pleasure & a privilege to work & train with them all. I would not hesitate to return to the BVI’s, just to dive with SCD, The RMS Rhone will stay with me forever engrained in my memory as one of the best wreck dives I have ever done.

“Great Fun and Professionalism”
I did an internship with Sail Caribbean Divers after I had my Padi Divemaster and I had an awesome time. I learnt a lot and had the pleasure to work with interesting, kind and patient people who all had a lot to offer. The well-being of the guests is their first priority in both safety and having fun, during the dive or in the boat.I highly recommend Sail Caribbean Divers if you want to dive in the British Virgin Islands (and you should, diving there is beautiful!)

“Amazing Experience with a Divemaster Pro-internship”
I was looking for a place to get some work experience as a Divemaster and came across Sail Caribbean Divers who offers a pro-internship for people like me who’ve already completed their Divemaster course. It seemed like a great opportunity and it definitely was!I spent a month with SCD [training]five days a week. I gained experience in so many fields from general seamanship over customer service both on the boats and on land to handling a compressor. I got to experience first-hand how well the guests are taken care of and see “behind the scenes” of the dive operation and I can therefore with absolute certainty say that I would love to come dive with SCD on my next holiday! The staff is welcoming and friendly, the equipment is very well-maintained and the dive sites are awesome. Even after mostly diving on the RMS Rhone I still find it very interesting and exciting.

“I completed my PADI Divemaster with Sail Caribbean Divers”
I arrived in Tortola in October 2013 till December to continue my dive education from PADI Advanced Open Water Diver up to Divemaster. Meli and Mike who are the Directors of the company are so lovely and really welcoming. They make you feel like you are part of the family and the team. All the staff are fantastic and brilliant instructors. It is all very professional and their dive equipment is new and well cared for. The dive sites around the BVI’s are stunning and if you are lucky like me there is a wild dolphin that some times comes and says hello when you are diving.I highly recommend this dive centre, I had such an amazing time and made some amazing friends. It was such a positive experience that I have just completed my IDC and IE and am now an Open Water Dive Instructor. Special thanks to Mike and Meli and all the team xxxxx
