Congratluations go out to Dale Daku, Laura Lucey and Ria O’Hagen for successfully completing the two mile swim at Virgin Island Search and Rescue’s 5th annual Swim the Sound. The two mile swim starting at Saba Rock and ending at Leverick Bay, Virgin Gorda is a popular VISAR fundraiser and this was their best year ever with a turn out of 94 participants, which included 25 entrants to the newly added SUP the Sound category on the increasingly popular Stand Up Paddleboards.

Dale, Laura and Ria were joined at the last minute by two of our Sail Caribbean summer sailing program staff, Elise Anderson and Mieles Ballisatn. Also our very own Divemaster in training Marco Bava won the SUP race.
