In the first of our boat profiles we look at Discovery, our 36-foot custom built Newton dive boat.
All of our dive boats are named after successful space shuttle missions. She has been in the Sail Caribbean Divers family since 1999. ‘Disco’ for short can accommodate up to 16 divers or 20 snorkelers. Fully equipped with oxygen and first aid kits, flares, life rafts, life jackets.
Those with a musical ear might notice she hums at a delightful G flat when motoring you across the channel. Neil told me that – I think he has spent too much time under the engine hatch!
